A year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault - police are appealing for witnesses. A 1am fight in a street between two women left one in hospital with knife wounds, police have revealed. Police said she suffered injuries to her head and hand on Canada Street, near Miles Platting in Manchester. Detectives said an 'altercation quickly turned violent' and have now issued a public appeal for witnesses. Shocking footage of a knife fight at a Penge fast food restaurant has been released to the public viewing for the first time. An elderly woman was knocked to the ground during the melee. The video shows the teenagers run into the takeaway, attempting to stab each other. The fight then continues in the doorway and outside on the pavement. One of the gang members was later jailed for his part in the fatal stabbing of year-old Karl Yule in Gillingham, Kent in October, the Mirror reports.
